Green Day raises €308 for charity “Goal”!

22 03 2013

Behy held a fundraising Green Day on 15th March 2013 as part of working towards the Green Flag on Global Citizenship. Dressing up in Green celebrated our Irish Citizenship, our Global Citizenship and our care for the Green environment. Children bought St. Patricks Day Shamrocks to wear for €2. We raised a total of €308.

A week later we were visited by Maura Lennon a speaker from Goal who showed us how the money we raised will go a long way in helping the poorest people of this world. Pictured is Caolan from the Green flag committee presenting Maura a cheque for €308.
